We are looking for a motivated and communicative Regional Energy Data Analyst to join our Regional GRFS Shared Services organization. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting energy consumption data across the EMEA region, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings and carbon footprint reduction.
This position is responsible for collecting and validating the accuracy of energy consumption data (e.g., electricity, gas, water, CO2, etc.) for regional manufacturing, distribution, R&D, and office facilities. The Energy Data Analyst will develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track energy performance.
In close collaboration with local plant and distribution center managers, site Facilities, and the global Sustainability Organization, the position holder will be interpreting trends & anomalies and will be supporting the implementation and tracking of energy efficiency projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Collect and validate energy consumption data from regional facilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor regional energy performance and trends
- Collaborate with facility managers, plant and distribution center managers, and sustainability teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment, providing justifications for energy trending
- Support the implementation and tracking of energy efficiency projects in the EMEA region
- Assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Stay current with energy market trends, technologies, and regulatory changes
What You Bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in data analysis, sustainability, or facilities management.
- Degree in Data Analytics, Accounting, Engineering, Environmental, or Sustainability.
- Familiarity with energy management systems (EMS), building automation systems (BAS) or utility data platforms
- Advanced Excel skills. User experience with Power BI, NVIEW, SOCOMEC is nice to have
- Experience building relationships and working with industry stakeholders, such as utilities, regional power planning agencies, renewable project developers, project investors, and renewable OEMs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Communication skills in an additional regional language is a plus.
- Ability to effectively analyze, interpret, and present energy consumption data and trending. Knowledge of regional energy regulations is a plus.
- Ability to comprehend & analyze complex utility consumption documents in various languages and multiple data sources. Advanced analytical and quantitative skills required.
- An understanding of energy/utilities reporting, in a corporate environment, industrial processes, and energy management is a plus.
- Ability to manage complex data collection and interpretation of data, meet deadlines, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and track progress toward short- and long-term deliverables.
