Senior Project Manager

To support our growth ambitions, we are strengthening our teams. Within the Life Science Group, the Program Management Office (PMO) drives the development of new products that bring innovation to researchers and clinicians around the world.

Reporting to the Director, Group PMO (US-based), and based at our Marnes-la-Coquette campus (92), close to Paris (75) and the Yvelines (78), you will lead cross-functional new product development projects from concept through commercial launch. Working across sites, you will report project progress to senior management and ensure that projects meet time, quality, cost, and customer requirements, with the right controls and governance in place. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the PMO and the Life Science Group.

Your impact:

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop new products from initiation through commercial launch, delivering high-quality outcomes within schedule, resources, budget, and scope.
• Build strong team motivation, alignment, and morale by creating a common purpose.
• Create, implement, and drive project plans and timelines to achieve business goals, manage critical path items, and remove roadblocks.
• Ensure that product requirements are clearly defined and grounded in data, customer insights, and market analysis.
• Oversee adherence to a structured design and development process, ensuring compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Bring a continuous-improvement mindset and best practices to contribute to the strategic objectives of the PMO and the Life Science Group.

What you bring:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field. Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP certification is a plus.
• 12+ years of experience developing life science and/or clinical diagnostics products through the full development cycle, from concept to launch.
• Strong technical expertise and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with project teams to launch new products that meet customer needs.
• Proven track record of leading projects to market while meeting schedule, resource, budget, and scope goals.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to align team members, leaders, and stakeholders around shared objectives, with or without direct authority.
• Ability to create momentum in the face of uncertainty, with a bias for action and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to adjust your level of involvement to remove obstacles, diving into details when needed and stepping back to see the big picture when required.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills, including executive-level communication.
• Bilingual-level English and fluent French, to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (5–10% of the time).
