Account Manager - Clinical Diagnostics

Based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, the Account Manager actively drives territory sales by executing a strategic business plan and promoting Bio-Rad’s clinical diagnostic product line. The role involves identifying new client opportunities, managing competing priorities, and maintaining organized territory oversight. The Account Manager collaborates closely with the sales team, communicates effectively, and ensures customer satisfaction through prompt issue resolution. They uphold Bio-Rad’s quality standards, pursue continuous learning through training and events, and operate without conflicts of interest across the full CDG product portfolio.

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

  • Drive Territory Success: Develop and execute a strategic Territory Sales Plan to meet and exceed sales goals across a diverse portfolio including quality controls, infectious disease, blood bank, immunology, and diabetes products. 
  • Grow Opportunities: Build, manage, and expand the sales funnel by identifying and nurturing new opportunities while effectively managing customer deadlines. 
  • Collaborate for Results: Partner proactively with Account Executives and the instrument sales team to align efforts and achieve territory objectives. 
  • Stay Informed and Communicative: Maintain daily updates in Salesforce.com and regularly communicate with the regional manager about market trends, forecasts, and activities. 
  • Master the Portfolio: Continuously develop product knowledge and demonstrate technical expertise while working in harmony with cross-functional teams to support customer needs and drive sales.

What You Bring:

  • Education: BA/BS degree in a medical technology, life science or technical related discipline or equivalent; advanced degree preferred. 
  • Work Experience: 3-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the clinical diagnostics sales and / or certified laboratory experience. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to produce results while working with multiple projects under tight deadlines. 
  • Strong technical skills to demonstrate instruments and/or consumables for clinical diagnostic applications.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $84,300 to $116,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
