The Senior Compliance Specialist is responsible for (i) the maintenance and administration of compliance platforms, (ii) compiling compliance statistics and identifying trends, (iii) executing Bio-Rad’s Spend Transparency and Conflicts of Interests programs, (iii) conducting risk assessments, (iv) the maintenance of policies and procedures relating to compliance and risk assessment, and (v) conducting compliance investigations.

 

THIS POSITION CAN BE FULLY REMOTE, but local candidates will be required to follow a hybrid model.

 

The Senior Compliance Specialist is responsible for:

  • The maintenance and administration of compliance platforms.
  • Compiling compliance statistics and identifying trends.
  • Executing Bio-Rad’s Spend Transparency and Conflicts of Interests programs.
  • Conducting risk assessments.
  • The maintenance of policies and procedures relating to compliance and risk assessment.
  • Conducting compliance investigations.

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

  • Systems administrator for multiple compliance systems, including Bio-Rad's third-party management system, Integrity Helpline, and due diligence provider. Manage requests and queries from business stakeholders relating to these systems, recommend and implement system and process changes, as necessary. 
  • Gathers master data information on healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations expenditures for analytics and transparency reporting. Performs data validation and reconciliation activities to validate accuracy and completeness of aggregate spend reporting information. 
  • Manages Bio-Rad’s Conflict of Interest Program, coordinating the annual campaign and disposition disclosures. 
  • Assists with compliance risk assessment and monitoring activities, including identifying and tracking key metrics, compiling trend analysis reports, and remaining current on key compliance and ethics developments. 
  • Supports the ongoing development, refinement, implementation, and effectiveness of Bio-Rad’s Corporate Compliance Program. 
  • Understands and assists with training and implementation of Bio-Rad’s Compliance Program and policies. May research current laws, rules, and other regulatory requirements to write, implement, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. 
  • May conduct investigations pertaining to violations of law and Bio-Rad policies.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. 
  • Work Experience: 3+ years of project management and business analysis. 2-4 years working directly with corporate compliance, legal, or risk management. 
  • Experience administering cloud-based compliance systems. 
  • Experience writing clear, accurate, and concise documentation. 
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, life sciences, or clinical diagnostics a strong plus. 
  • Experience with the requirements for effective compliance programs a plus. 
  • Excellent written communication and grammatical skills with the ability to write in a variety of styles and tones. 
  • Familiarity with anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws a plus.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $117,900 to $162,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
