The Product Manager will effectively drive key elements of the commercial enablement process for the clinical immunology business, including the development of marketing campaigns and promotional materials, sales training tools, and scientific collaborations and presentations.  The successful candidate will build and implement an internal and external promotional strategy that delivers measurable business outcomes.

 

Travel up to 15% (domestic and international) is required.   

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the content strategy plan to help with commercial efforts to drive growth of the BioPlex 2200 System portfolio.
  • Define appropriate studies and additional content to support the content strategy plan.
  • Establish, nurture and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders. 
  • Engage with key opinion leaders to execute desired studies.
  • Refine the value proposition/positioning of BioPlex 2200 System and key BioPlex 2200 panels to drive regional adoption. 
  • Lead the development of new tools for the selling organization reflecting the updated positioning.
  • Design and implement marketing campaigns with measurable tactics to drive qualified leads into the sales funnel and to grow business with existing customers.
  • Work with the commercial team to gain alignment on execution of marketing campaigns. 
  • Serve as a champion for the BioPlex 2200 products with the commercial team.
  • Lead overall promotional messaging and activities associated with tradeshows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biology or chemistry preferred, but candidates with a bachelor's degree in marketing or business will also be considered.  An MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales/marketing, preferably in the clinical diagnostics industry. 
  • Experience selling capital equipment and attached consumables preferred.  Sales training experience a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to learn technical information related to diagnostic testing and instrumentation.
  • Ability to distill complex scientific information into meaningful customer benefits and creative content
  • Strong aptitude for product positioning & messaging.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce.com or other similar programs).
  • Working knowledge of digital campaign automation (e.g. Marketo).
