We are seeking a Facilities Program Manager to join the Global Program Management group of the Global Real Estate/Facilities/Safety (GRFS) business. You will oversee and manage the planning and operational aspects of new and ongoing global programs in GRFS and serve as a leader of the internal and external program team. You must have a strong background in operations and maintenance along with a solid understanding of facilities management practices and tools. You will act as the subject matter expert or guru for facilities-related best practices and O&M regulatory standards. You will be accountable for the successful execution of program deliverables; review status of program and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports; assess program issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, client-satisfaction goals, and continuous improvement and strategic initiative program goals.

Responsibilities

  • Works on projects of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors and a moderate to complex number of variable of factors.
  • Requires moderate supervision, and receives general direction or goals and mentoring from the next level manager.
  • Leads multiple programs of complex scope throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Works with the sponsor(s) from the departments served by the program to resolve issues requiring their support.
  • Works with management team(s) of the department(s) served by the program to create a charter for the program.
  • Oversees the program management process, including partnering with facility managers and external and internal partners and service providers (i.e. architects, engineers, HR, IT, Security, EHS, Site Property Manager, etc.).
  • Performs program feasibility studies including scope, schedule and budget development.
  • Identifies areas of risk, monitors them throughout the program, and reports to customer group(s).
  • May provide feedback on team member performance.
  • Manages the development of program teams including team building, motivating, etc.
  • Develops long range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements and documentation for facility.
  • Formulates and coordinates program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents.
  • Reviews existing programs for applicability and recommends change control to stakeholders where needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant engineering, facilities, construction or building technology.
  • 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project management training and certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry practices and company policies and procedures.
  • Solid analytical skills including data collection and synthesis.
  • Interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project software
  • Proficient in standard project management tools (e.g., work breakdown structures, Gantt charts, critical path analysis) to document and communicate project plans.
  • Able to deal with moderate to high levels of uncertainty.
  • Able to facilitate conflict resolution with manager’s assistance.
