The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing a team of product managers responsible for Clinical System's D-100, Beta Thalassemia, and Variant Newborn Screening product lines. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in implementing strategies and driving growth of Clinical System's flagship A1c product. This is a global position, and as such the successful candidate must have the ability to collaborate and influence global stakeholders in a matrix-structured environment. A solid understanding of classical marketing concepts and the ability to apply them within the diagnostics environment is essential for this role. Leading a team of highly talented product managers, the acquisition, coaching, and mentoring of marketing talent is crucial. As the space is highly competitive and specialized, driving job satisfaction, personal growth and motivation are especially critical to staff retention and the continued success of the team.

  • Competitive benchmarking and monitoring key industry trends 
  • Management of partnerships with automation providers 
  • Development of KOL relationships and collaboration on usability and workflow studies

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences discipline. MS, MBA, PhD a plus. 
  • 8+ years’ experience in marketing products in the in vitro diagnostics industry 
  • Prior people management experience is preferred 
  • Demonstrable skills in product promotion, strategic planning and understanding the main decision drivers within market segments; especially the ability to create powerful financial and value-based arguments 
  • Continued awareness of competitive activities, positioning, and pricing 
  • Strong spirit of collaboration and ability to partner effectively with regional commercial teams 
  • Experience working on cross functional core teams and collaborating with a wide spectrum of internal and external customers; ability to manage through influence; negotiate with stakeholders and customers 
  • Be a thought leader with strong critical thinking and strategic thinking abilities 
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities 
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and visual presentation) across all levels

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $145,500 to $199,900 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.  ​This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance. ​
