We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Manager / Product Manager to join our fast-paced team in the Digital Biology Group at Bio-Rad Laboratories, where we’re changing the world by pushing the boundaries of research and diagnostics with sample partitioning technologies. 

 

We are looking for candidates in Michigan but we will also consider candidates residing in CA and other parts of the US.

Responsibilities

  • Define and bring to market new products in the area of single-cell NGS sample prep for the research and biopharma drug discovery markets in line with the group’s overall business strategy.  
  • Lead the execution of product management – representing the customer in development teams and communicating the product vision to ensure they are specified, developed, positioned and promoted correctly.  
  • Align market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by direct interactions with KOLs and customers. 
  • Collaborate globally with commercial teams on voice of the customer inputs, competitive intelligence, and market trends to build robust marketing plans for single cell library prep product portfolios. 
  • Contribute to the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, highlighting the products at tradeshows and conferences, and executing an outbound marketing presence to deliver on the group’s sales and revenue goals.  
  • Responsible for developing global content for sales and support collateral for products in the portfolio, as well as content for web, media, etc. 

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Life Sciences required; MS, MBA or PhD highly desired. 
  • Must have strong understanding/background with flow cytometry and next-generation sequencing applications. 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product management or marketing role with at least 2 years focused on developing, managing or positioning of single cell sequencing products into the research and biopharma market segments. Knowledge of oncology and clinical trials is a plus. 
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills are essential. 
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • This full-time role requires ~25% travel.
