The Product Sales Manager Americas for Process Chromatography (PCD) reports to the Sr. Director, Global Strategic Accounts - Process Chromatography. 

 

This individual is responsible for continuously defining, implementing, and developing commercial strategies for PCD products in the region, in line with the guidelines set forth by the Sr. Director. Responsible for business and sales growth for all PCD products. Lead and engage a team of approximately 5 account executives in the region and 2 field application specialists, solve business problems through a consultative approach, develop sales plans and be responsible for delivering revenue commitments. Develop influential relationships with key stakeholders, including opinion leaders, new and legacy customers at all levels and invest in key strategic initiatives and build an optimal organization to ensure long term sustainable growth. Managing plan execution as well as leading by example, monitoring, training, and coaching the PCD sales team in a way that best serves targeted growth for this region. Ensure compliance to SOX, financial audits and other relevant global and local rules and regulations. Ensure compliance with the Bio-Rad CRM system – SalesForce.com. We look for a motivated, career-oriented candidate, focused on both pipeline- as well on revenue growth.

 

This role is remote and you can live anywhere in the United States 

Responsibilities

  • Ensures sales growth to quota performance, develops the pipeline for new opportunities & new projects, protects margin, completes forecasts, and manages operating expenses for the PCD Americas sales team. 
  • Directly manages the 5 Account Executives and 2 Field Application Specialists.
  • Select, train, coach, engage and develop the team of 7.
  • Define, develop, and implement commercial strategies in line with management guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders, opinion leaders and key customers.  
  • Monitor and Forecast PCD business trends or changes, in compliance with Bio-Rad’s CRM system.
  • Develop Sales strategies, presentations and proposals.
  • Resource essential data from the Account Executives to contribute creating a marketing strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years successful track record selling Life Science products into Pharma market.
  • 3 years sales leadership/management experience.
  • Commercial global experience, with responsibilities for significant revenue growth and large life science portfolio.
  • Culturally astute, effective communication with executives, poised, confident.
  • Visualize big picture, strategic direction and develop and monitor tactical path for execution.
