VP, DBG Marketing

VP, DBG Marketing

  • 2021-22878
  • Pleasanton, California, United States

Bio-Rad’s DBG is undergoing a rapid evolution. In 2020, the group acquired and integrated the Celsee single cell analysis platform, transformed its short, medium and long-term strategic plans and added several key positions to its leadership team.

To support this evolution, we are recruiting a new Vice President of Global Marketing that will report directly to the SVP and General Manager, DBG.  With deep industry experience and a proven track record of successful leadership in product management and outbound marketing, the VP will lead a team of around 25 employees and 5 direct reports, mostly based in the Bay Area (Pleasanton). With global responsibility for DBG Marketing, the role is mission-critical for the development and execution of DBG’s marketing plans spanning overall 5-year strategy, new product development roadmaps, market development (field collaborations with KoLs) and marketing programs (outbound ‘evangelization’ of DBG’s products). Choreographing these plans and the team’s activities, the VP will ensure unwavering alignment to the DBG Strategy while prioritizing resources to ensure dollars are focused on the areas of highest priority and impact. In addition, the VP will play a central role in balancing the parallel evolution of DBG’s technology platforms as they are introduced in other areas of the business in both Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics.

The successful candidate will thrive in a matrixed environment and will have strong financial and strategic acumen coupled with a track record of practical execution, including experience operating in a phase-gate new product development system and design control.  The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for productivity and leadership decision-making based on data analytics and KPIs.
