Production Planner I

As the Production Planner in our Bio-Rad Fort Worth, TX site, you will establish and maintain production schedule as required by ERP system and/or manual Kanban with input from production, purchasing, quality control and marketing. Generates data and runs standard reports, summarizes and communicates conclusions and makes scheduling recommendations accordingly. Receives production schedule messages from production personnel and resolves or redirects issues as appropriate.

• Works under broad general direction with significant autonomy.
• Independently determines and develops approach to production strategy, problem solving and execution of production plans.
• Ensures all critical supplies and shipments are prioritized and ready to meet OTIF and customer expectations.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Product Supply Management, or related discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience working within an ERP system or Lean Manufacturing environment.
• General production planning scheduling experience preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP and other manufacturing materials systems.
• Solid and effective communication skills.
• PC skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, database software, internet software, manufacturing software).
• Knowledge of and experience with chemical, instrument or facility production processes, and process equipment.

Location: This position must be based in Fort Worth, Texas and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $59,100 - $81,300 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
