Commercial Credit and Collection Associate

Bio-Rad is looking for a Credit and Collections Associate in our finance group.  As a Credit and Collections Associate, you will make 50 to 60 outgoing calls a day, interact directly with customers on a daily basis, and handle credit limit increases.

*** While this a remote position, we are looking for candidates within the Bay Area who can be onsite when needed. ***

How You’ll Make An Impact:  

• Work on reducing past due account receivables.

• Reconcile customer accounts to ensure correct balance.

• Increase company profit by decreasing bad debt.

• Credit management.

• Provide excellent internal and external customer service.

What You Bring: 

• A Bachelor or Associate Degree in Accounting or a related area is preferred but is not required.
• 5+ years of Commercial Collection experience required.
• Knowledge of collection laws.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office and SAP knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Time management/self-management skills
• Excellent customer service, negotiation, communication and analytics skills.
• Understanding of how to read, understand and utilize a Dun & Bradstreet report.
• Knowledge of audited financial statements (what they look like and what to look for)

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $45,500 to $62,600 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
