The intern will work alongside software engineers to build a web application that brings together data from tools like TFS, Jira, and Jama to help teams understand how their work is progressing. Day to day, the intern will help create dashboards, improve data accuracy, and reduce manual effort by automating updates and syncing information across tools. The intern will also use approved AI-assisted tools to support analysis and automation, and help connect insights and notifications into Microsoft Teams so engineers have better visibility into program status.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
- Help build a simple web app to show how software projects are doing.
- Pull information from tools like Jira, TFS, and Jama.
- Use AI tools to help with data and small automation tasks.
- Create basic dashboards and share updates in Microsoft Teams.
- Work with engineers to test, learn, and improve the tools.
What You Bring:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field. Eligible candidates must be rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students who intend to return to their academic program the following academic year. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
- Interest in software development, data, or automation (coursework or personal projects are fine).
- Basic experience with programming or scripting (any language is acceptable).
- Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions.
- Able to work well with others and communicate clearly with teammates.
Location: This position must be based in Hercules, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Compensation: The hourly range for this position is $25 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
