Human Resources Manager & Site Lead

We are seeking a dynamic HR Manager who will also serve as the Site Lead for our Budapest office. This dual role involves overseeing all HR-related matters and acting as the site lead to ensure departmental needs are met, collaboration is harmonized, and effective communication is maintained across our Budapest entity. The ideal candidate will manage a team of HR employees and handle the complete HR process for the assigned region, including the full 360-degree employee life cycle. You will ensure that global HR processes, policies, and guidelines are effectively applied in the region.

As the HR Manager & Site Lead, you will play a crucial role in our Budapest office, which serves as a key hub for our EMEA operations. In this position, you will be responsible for a broad range of HR activities and ensure the smooth functioning of the site by harmonizing departmental needs, fostering effective communication, and reducing silo operations. You will work closely with the Managing Director to drive the success of the site and ensure alignment with our global business strategies.

 

How You'll make an impact:

 

• Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering: Develop strong relationships with senior business leaders to understand their needs and deliver tailored HR programs and processes. Effective and proactive stakeholder management is crucial for success in this role.
• HR Consulting Services: Provide expert advice and coaching to managers, and deliver a full range of HR programs for multiple organizational units.
• Compliance & Legal: Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
• Staff Management: Manage a small team, including hiring, training, development, and performance management, fostering an inclusive and innovative work environment.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Facilitate collaboration between functions to address local issues and ensure consistency across business units.
• Operational Oversight: In active collaboration with the Managing Director of the site, coordinate and facilitate local management meetings to ensure effective communication of key messages and merge departmental needs.

What you'll bring:

 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced Degree in HR preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a Business Partner role. A minimum of 3 years managing a team is preferable.
• Skills:
• Fluent English language knowledge both written and verbally is a must
• Thorough knowledge of employment law and HR policies and practices.
• Advanced functional knowledge of HR processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to influence, engage, and advise various stakeholders across the business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS applications and analytics.
