At Bio-Rad, we publish a monthly Multicultural Calendar of events that are commonly celebrated in the United States and in other countries in which we operate. Our goal is to feature a variety of events that help bring cultural awareness to various groups' histories, traditions, and accomplishments while also highlighting events important to us both as a company and a community.
Greek-American Heritage Month: All March (US)

Greek-American Heritage Month is celebrated in the United States in March each year to celebrate Greek Americans’ vibrant culture and significant contributions. The celebration also coincides with Greece’s National Greek Independence Day on March 25. To learn more, click here.
Benito Juarez Day: March 21 (Mexico)

March 21st commemorates more than just the start of spring; it’s the day that Mexico celebrates the birthday of Benito Juárez — with a public holiday falling on the first day of that week to mark the occasion. You might recognize the name Benito Juárez from street names around the country, school history books, or the Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City. Eid Al-Fitr: March 29-30 (APAC & EMEA)

More than one billion Muslims across the globe celebrate a holiday called Eid al-Fitr each year. Eid al-Fitr, meaning the “Holiday of Breaking the Fast” marks the end of Ramadan and is one of the major holidays of the Islamic faith. To learn more, click here.
