Scientist (m,f,d) New Technologies in Antibody Generation

For our Lab Site in Neuried near Munich we are looking for a Scientist (m,f,d) - New Technologies in Antibody Generation

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Evaluation, development  and optimization of existing and new technologies in the field of recombinant antibodies with a special focus on selection, screening and antibody modification methods
• Support establishing yeast surface display
• Characterization of antibodies in various assays (direct and indirect ELISA, sandwich ELISA, Western Blot, etc.)
• Using bioanalytical methods (SDS PAGE, stability measurements, expression analysis, SEC, etc.)
• Continuous improvement of laboratory processes
• Reading scientific literature and internal presentation of results
• Training and instruction of new laboratory employees, if required

What You Bring:

• Master or PhD in biochemistry, chemistry or biology or comparable
• Very good knowledge of working with recombinant yeast cultures
• Solid background in modern molecular biology and protein chemistry
• Ability to efficiently organize laboratory work allowing nesting experiments
• Good command of MS Office and scientific software (like sequence analysis software)
• True Team player with well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills
• Very good communication skills in English and in German Language
