Senior Video Manager

As a Senior Video Manager at Bio-Rad, your day will be a mix of strategic planning, creative direction, and hands-on video production. You might start by reviewing scripts and storyboards for an upcoming product explainer video. Midday, you could be directing a video shoot—whether remotely or on set—ensuring that visuals align with Bio- Rad’s brand and messaging. Later, you’ll collaborate with motion designers and editors to refine animations and post-production elements. Your day may also include providing creative feedback, aligning with marketing teams on campaign goals, and staying on top of emerging trends in video storytelling.

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

• Lead Video Strategy & Storytelling – Develop compelling visual narratives that simplify complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences. 
• Oversee Production & Post-Production – Manage video projects end-to-end, from concept and scriptwriting to filming, editing, and motion graphics. 
• Ensure Brand & Regulatory Compliance – Maintain brand consistency across all video content while adhering to industry standards and regulations. 
• Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with designers, copywriters, and marketing teams to integrate video into broader brand campaigns. 
• Mentor & Guide Creative Teams – Provide direction and feedback to internal teams and external vendors, ensuring high-quality execution.

What You Bring:

• Experience – 8+ years in video production, motion design, or art direction within an agency or in-house creative team. 
• Technical Expertise – Mastery of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with 3D software (Cinema 4D, Blender, etc.) a huge plus. 
• Strong Visual & Storytelling Skills – Ability to craft compelling narratives and translate complex topics into engaging video content. 
• Project Management & Leadership – Capable of handling multiple projects, managing teams, and directing on-set video production. 
• Excellent Communication & Collaboration – Strong ability to present ideas, provide feedback, and work cross-functionally to achieve marketing goals.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $117,900 to $162,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
