Working with MSAT team members to understand their data needs, exploring SAP manufacturing and QC tables, and building or refining reusable queries and scripts to extract relevant datasets. The intern would document these workflows as clear work aids, test them with real MSAT use cases, and iterate based on feedback to ensure the tools are practical, reliable, and easy for non-data experts to use.

How You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Learn and map SAP manufacturing and QC data structures to MSAT use cases, turning business questions into reliable data sources.
  • Develop standardized, reusable queries, scripts, and templates for common MSAT data extraction and analysis needs.
  • Create clear work aids and documentation so MSAT can independently retrieve and analyze data consistently.
  • Partner with MSAT team members to validate data accuracy and ensure outputs support troubleshooting and CI efforts.
  • Reduce manual, ad-hoc data mining and reliance on tribal knowledge by implementing scalable, repeatable data workflows.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Enrollment in or recent graduation from a program in data analytics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Basic experience with SQL and/or Python for data extraction and analysis through coursework or projects is preferred.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, take instruction and learn, not too dissimilar from participation on sports teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to use the Microsoft suite of applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • 3.0 Minimum GPA.
  • Rising Juniors, Seniors, and Masters Students.
  • Be willing to make a full-time commitment of 40 hours a week for 9 weeks from June 15 to August 14, 2026.
