This Market Acess & Scientific Affairs Intern, role support cross-functional initiatives across the Market Access, Scientific Affairs, KOL Management, and Market Insights teams. This role will contribute to research, analysis, data management, and development of materials that support strategic planning, payer engagement, and scientific communication across the Clinical Diagnostics portfolio. The internship provides exposure to the intersection of science, market access, and commercial strategy in the diagnostics industry while working with global teams.
Location: This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.
How You'll Make An Impact:
- Conduct research on market trends, payer coverage, and competitor activity.
- Identify and track Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and relevant scientific societies.
- Maintain and update internal tracking tools and databases (e.g., KOL and society trackers).
- Support reimbursement and market landscape analysis using available databases and resources.
- Assist in preparing summary reports, presentations, and strategic materials.
- Monitor scientific publications, conferences, and industry developments.
- Provide administrative and analytical support across Market Access, Scientific Affairs, and Market Insights teams.
- The Intern supports data-driven decision making by contributing research and insights on market trends, reimbursement landscapes, and competitor activity.
- The role helps strengthen KOL and scientific society engagement through stakeholder tracking and landscape analysis, while also supporting market access and commercial strategy.
- By maintaining key databases, trackers, and resources, the intern also helps improve internal organization and collaboration across Market Access, Scientific Affairs, and Market Insights teams.
What You Bring:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited University, in Life Sciences, Public Health, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize information into clear insights.
- Interest in the healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences industry, particularly market access and scientific strategy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) for data organization and presentation development.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills with attention to detail.
- 3.0 Minimum GPA.
- Rising Juniors, Seniors, and Masters Students.
- Be willing to make a full-time commitment of 40 hours a week for 9 weeks from June 15 to August 14, 2026.

Compensation: The estimated hourly rate for this position is $25.00 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
