Associate Director, Product Owners

As the Associate Director, Product Owners, you will be involved in strategic planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the development of innovative diagnostic products align with the business and product stakeholder priorities. Responsibilities also include oversight and alignment of the product roadmap with business objectives, engage with stakeholders to include researchers, clinicians, and regulatory bodies, monitor product development progress, make decisions regarding resource allocation and prioritization, and drive continuous improvement.

  

How You'll Make An Impact:

• To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in product management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Collaborate with the product marketing team for developing and driving the product strategy to ensure that the product aligns with the overall business strategy and goals.
• Work with the Informatics team to develop a product roadmap that outlines the product vision and aligns with the marketing and business strategy.
• Responsible for prioritizing the product backlog items based on business value and ensuring that the team is working on the most important items.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that the product is meeting their requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as development, design, and marketing to ensure that the product is being developed and delivered effectively.
• Work with the team to launch the product, coordinating with stakeholders on feature training and demonstrations. 
• Define and track key product metrics to measure the success of the product owner group deliverable and make data-driven decisions.
• Continuously evaluate the product and the team's performance, looking for opportunities to improve the product and the team's processes.

 What You Bring:

 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, bio-medical engineering or related field. PhD preferred.
• 12+ years experience with application software definition and/or development, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the above areas the candidate will make an impact.
• Experience monitoring, managing and growing a team of Product Owners to improve the effectiveness and ability to drive software development in an agile environment.
• You should have a deep understanding of clinical chemistry and instrument products, including the principles, methodologies, and the clinical significance of results.
• You should have knowledge of quality control principles and practices in a laboratory setting, including statistical process control, and proficiency testing.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $169,800 - $233,400 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, i,ncluding geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
