Bio-Rad in Cressier is currently looking for an Account Manager (m/f/d) - 100%.

The Account Manager sells the LSG product portfolio into the French-speaking/Western Switzerland. He works as part of a high-functioning team, including Instrument System Specialists, Field Application Specialists and Field Marketing Managers. He acts as principal Bio-Rad contact for each assigned accounts and will apply resources or direct team members to reach specific objectives or resolve specific issues; reports to National Sales Manager Switzerland.

 

Your impact: 

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • Identifie and develop client opportunities
  • Resolve customer problems or concerns and provide potential and existing customers with written quotations
  • Create and utilize a territory sales plan in conjunction with the sales manager
  • Prioritize project planning, meeting competing customer requests/deadlines
  • Manage contacts, activities, calendar, and sales pipeline through daily use of SalesForce.com
  • Work in conjunction with marketing and other sales teams to develop and implement sales and marketing plans
  • Along with your account team, build a basic territory plan that consists of account and major product goals. Content should include major strategies, tactics and timelines
  • Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of selling skills and sales forecasting
  • Monitor and evaluate competitive services, pricing and other activities

 

What you bring:

  • Master of Science / Diploma Degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology (Ph.D / Promotion preferred)
  • Sales experience selling products in the Life Science marketplace or equivalent combination of education and experience (Sales experience in the Life Science marketplace preferred but not mandatory, equivalent combination of education and experience also possible)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to produce results while working with multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Strong technical skills to demonstrate instruments and/or consumables for research
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze territory data and technical information
  • Ability to operate effectively with diverse professionals in a team environment
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • May involve basic laboratory skills, including sample presentation
