As the Supply Assurance Buyer, you will ensure that the materials and components required for production are available when needed, while maintaining a balance between inventory levels and production demands.
This is an essential position working five days per week on-site.
Location: This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.
How You'll Make An Impact:
- Ensure timely execution of MRP supply, forecast, and exception reports to suppliers, aligning supplier delivery commitments with production requirements.
- Oversee purchasing of both direct and indirect commodities, including chemicals, biologicals, and packaging components.
- Expedite deliveries and address material shortages to support uninterrupted production.
- Manage and resolve supplier returns, goods receipts, and invoice discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity while adhering to established procedures and standards.
- Optimize inventory levels to support production needs while minimizing inventory holding costs.
- Serve as a liaison between Purchasing and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on supply needs and priorities.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, logistics, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing and planning experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing environment.
- Possess good computer skills including MS Office and strong in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledgeable of SAP ERP will be advantageous.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,310 to $85,300 annually, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
