Creative Director

Bio-Rad Creative Studio is looking for a visionary Creative Director who can elevate the brand through exceptional creative strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a passion for quality execution and storytelling. The ideal candidate will inspire teams to push creative boundaries while aligning top-quality work with organizational strategies, project goals, and stakeholder business challenges. Success in this role relies on fostering strong relationships with teams and clients, collaborating with peers and leadership, and confidently presenting and defending ideas at all levels to drive remarkable business outcomes across various channels.

• Strong strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and optimize team talents.
• Expertise in creative disciplines such as design, copywriting, and video production.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Skilled in using industry-standard software and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel B2B marketing.
• Proactive in identifying problems and ensuring effective communication.
• Keen attention to detail with strong delegation capabilities.
• Strong influence and negotiation skills.
• Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MFA preferred.
• Work Experience: Minimum 10 years professional experience; as art director or copywriter. Minimum 5 years management experience in leading creative teams.
• Portfolio required.
• In-house agency experience desired; external agency experience preferred.
• Demonstrated creative conceptualization skills.
• Healthcare/Biotech experience preferred.

Location: Bio-Rad is pleased to offer the flexibility of a hybrid work environment for this role, 3 days in office, 2 days remote, working out of the Hercules CA office

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $190,900 to $266,700 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
