Value Assignment Supervisor

Join the Bio-Rad team in a key role supporting our Global Supply Chain operations. As a Value Assignment Supervisor, you will play a vital role within the Global Supply Chain Group to help meet manufacturing demands. You’ll support the Bio-Rad manufacturing plant that produces Quality Controls that researchers and scientists need to make healthcare breakthroughs and save lives.  

How You'll Make An Impact:

• Develop individual contributors and future leaders through exemplary modeling of accountability, formal training, coaching, and mentorship.
• Drive change by defining capabilities, performance goals and metrics that will inform decision-making and break down barriers to success.
• Reinforce the reliability of our supply chain, working to identify technical problems and other causes of quality issues and recommending timely corrective action while building your knowledge of the manufacturing process.
• Bridge gaps and eliminate barriers within internal processes and teams.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll help to implement continuous process improvement projects and expand your knowledge of Bio-Rad manufacturing operations.
• This role will supervise a team of 3-5 individuals and serve as a liaison between the Value Assignment and Labeling sub-teams.
• This role will promote cross-functional collaboration with the VA Supervisor team and within the VA Specialists and Desktop Publishers sub-teams to address manufacturing priorities without sacrificing quality.

What You Bring:

• 5-7 years of industry experience, including clinical/medical device environment or manufacturing production experience, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
• 0-2 years experience as a lead role in a Clinical Laboratory environment or Medical Device Industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, consultative, and relationship management skills and an eagerness to build relationships through inter-organization collaborations.
• SAP ERP experience.
• Familiarity with project management principles & New Product Introduction (NPI) in medical device industry.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $84,300 - $116,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
