Director, Global Sales Operations - CoE

The Director Global Sales Operations Center of Excellence (CoE) leads support functions essential to sales force productivity, efficiency, and automation. These responsibilities and accountabilities include business planning, reporting, data analytics, market research, sales quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales program implementation, sales force incentive compensation design and administration, sales force recruiting and support, and Power BI report management. 

 

This leader will have responsibility for several aspects of our organizational transformation to streamline sales operational processes to accelerate profitable growth. The position will direct the organization’s investments in sales force effectiveness and manage functions essential to sales force productivity including administrative sales support (reporting, CRM, and process optimization) and customer service. The Director Global Sales Operations CoE will foster close working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the Sales organization and have a significant voice in cross functional operations. 

 

Responsible for a $3M+ CRM platform driving $300M+ annual growth and ~$170M of Sales Incentive Plan achievement and supporting analytics to measure sales behaviors in support of annual goals.  

 

Responsible for developing strategic partnerships internally with EVP/SVP/VP’s in all Regions to drive program adherence. Manage external partnerships with key vendors such as Accenture, Alexander Group, Salesforce and others.  

 

Scope includes GCO strategic programs and projects in support of $3B current revenue with growth objectives to $5B by 2026. 

 

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

  • Provide leadership, governance, and oversight for the Global Sales Operations CoE, which includes the management of CRM and Sales Operations Analysts both directly and indirectly to ensure company compliance with CoE governance models across EMEA, Americas and APAC regions.  
  • Be responsible for the tools, policies, controls, and salesforce effectiveness tools and programs company wide.  
  • Lead, coach, manage and develop functional direct reports.
  • Partner closely with data analytics team to ensure sales data access and quality. 
  • Drive and Support Sales strategic pricing programs and analytics.
  • Work with sales leadership on territory design, account planning, and incentive plans for the team and measure and report on progress to plan.
  • Develop KPI’s and report achievement to plan on a regular basis
  • Develop and manage a standardized set of scorecards/reports detailing sales funnel opportunities.  
  • Oversee the sales funnel in partnership with commercial teams.
  • Leverage sales analytics data to inform opportunity assessments and choices for the sales team.
  • Streamline the sales process (accelerate revenue, drive forecast accuracy) and develop and execute sales growth solutions to deliver productivity (cost efficiencies) and incremental growth (revenue) to protect ~$3B of existing revenue and strategic growth to $5B.

What You Bring: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Minimum five years in a sales operations, business planning, or sales support management role.  7-10 years commercial leadership experience, with deep expertise leading an organization through transformative change.  
  • Proven ability to serve as a highly strategic, and tactically effective, player/coach capable of inspiring and developing their team and forging strong, impactful cross-functional relationships.  
  • Big picture thinker who can quickly understand overall business objectives and offer strategic guidance as well as specific, tactical insights.  
  • Thrive on being data-informed and results-driven but also recognize the importance of qualitative and contextual inputs for balanced decision-making.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $193,900 to $266,700 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States*. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.

 

*Minimum reflects our lowest paying locations, and the top end reflects our highest paying locations. The range in your geographic location will vary but will be within the indicated range.
