As the Quality Assurance Intern, you will develop a structured process to identify, trend, and escalate repeat nonconformances (NCs) within the quality system. This project will involve analyzing historical NC data, defining objective criteria for repeat issues, and creating standardized tracking and response tools. The resulting process will be designed to be audit-ready and aligned with existing risk assessment and CAPA escalation procedures.
Location: This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.
How You'll Make An Impact:
This project will improve early detection of systemic quality issues, strengthen CAPA decision-making, and enhance inspection readiness while reducing the risk of recurring nonconformances.
What You Bring:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited university in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
- Work Experience: regulated device experience preferred but not required.
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask.
- Microsoft Office (word, excel, PPT).
- Strong problem solving, decision making, time management, organization and communication skills.
- 3.0 Minimum GPA.
- Rising Juniors, Seniors, and Masters Students.
- Be willing to make a full-time commitment of 40 hours a week for 9 weeks from June 15 to August 14, 2026.

Compensation: The estimated hourly rate for this position is $25.00 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
