Bio-Rad's primary areas of focus in Poland include Life Science research, in which employees work closely with academia, Clinical Diagnostics, which provides hospitals with diagnostic tests and controls for patient diagnosis, and Food Science, whose customers are largely comprised of governmental units and laboratories that monitor food for pathogens. Poland is also home to a newly acquired Bio-Rad team developing a new sample-to-answer, rapid diagnostics PCR system for the molecular diagnostics market.
