Scientist (f,m,d)

Bio-Rad is seeking a Scientist (f,m,d) for our Antibody Generation and Characterization Team. The position is based in Neuried, greater area of Munich.

How you will make an impact:

• Generate antibodies for research and diagnostic applications using advanced in vitro methods, including recombinant antibody libraries and phage display.
• Determine binding kinetics and affinities of antibody–antigen interactions.
• Perform quality control and comprehensive characterization of antibodies using a range of assays, including direct and indirect ELISA, sandwich ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, and flow cytometry, followed by interpretation and presentation of results.
• Provide technical support to customers.

What you will bring: 

• Ph.D. in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or a related life science discipline.
• Strong background in molecular biology, immunology, and biochemistry.
• Proven experience in phage display or other in vitro selection technologies and recombinant antibody technologies is an advantage.
• Team-oriented mindset with well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
