Lead Software Developer

We are seeking a hands-on Lead, Software Developer, based out of our Irvine, CA office, to join our team and play a key role in the development of cloud-based applications. This role combines technical leadership and active development, with responsibility for low-level design, defining software specifications, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business and technical goals.

How You'll Make An Impact:

• Ensure software design aligns with the approved architecture, and effectively communicate design decisions to the team.
• Define, document, and govern software design, ensuring compliance with architecture standards and design patterns.
• Develop high-quality software that incorporates best practices.
• Drive the software development process through informed, high-level decision-making.
• Mentor and coach software engineers, programmers, and other team members to elevate technical expertise.
• Establish and maintain design and coding standards across projects.
• Act as a technical liaison among developers, testers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development and design.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms with 8+ years of hands-on AWS experience (DynamoDB, Aurora Postgres, SQS, SNS, S3, Systems Manager).
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks with 8+ years of experience in GoLang, .NET, Python, and Angular.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices (preferred).

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $133,900 - $184,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
