Process Dev Mgr

The Process Development Manager will oversee a team of 5+ scientists responsible for process development, manufacturing support and representing manufacturing in new product development. Investigate quality notifications (nonconformances and unplanned deviations) and execute associated CAPA related to the manufacturing process. Serves as an active member of the site leadership team in support of BioPlex 2200, EIA microplate, and IFA slide product lines at Seattle Operations.

• Leads process development projects in support of business continuity, CAPA and continuous improvement goals
• Represent manufacturing on crossfunctional NPI projects, in direct collaboration with R&D, to meet manufacturing metrics
• Manages day to day manufacturing support activities to keep build plan on track
• Monitors and provides metrics on team performance, projects, and activities
• Guides efforts of team in support of goals, quality systems requirements, FDA regulations, and ISO registration requirements
• Acts as the technical leadership representative on CAPA /Material Review Board, audit teams, and other cross-functional group
• Coordinates and directs projects and QN resolution plans, making detailed timelines/plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical investigation strategies
• Develops and executes validation strategy in coordination with QA/RA in compliance with FDA/ISO guidelines and regulations
• Develops strategy for Capital expenditure to meet growth and continuous improvement targets. Manage sourcing and implementation of equipment to meet Capital expenditure budget and timelines

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $126,200 to $173,600 at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
