Production Operator Lead

The Production Operator Lead position will:

• Perform, support and oversee all job functions associated with the Production Operator position at PIMS, including inspection bagging and packaging of all product lines, while adhering to proper policies, procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with planning and management personnel to optimize daily scheduling of team in order to maximize productivity potential and achieve daily and monthly goals.
• Provide guidance and leadership to team members and advise management on performance and development opportunities.
• Be knowledgeable in SAP transactions and perform as necessary.
• Work to achieve an environment free of safety hazards and improper ergonomic conditions while driving employee commitment to work safe daily
• Monitor and act on production supply inventory levels.
• Trains and coach new employees on operator functions and SAP transactions.
• Provide feedback and participate in continuous improvement/LEAN opportunities.
• Gather and present data and information needed for Daily Management Boards.

What You Bring:

• Education: High School education required
• Work Experience: 5+ years in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated Safety and Quality-First mindset
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift or occasionally move items up to 50 lbs.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $46,800 to $64,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
