Strategic Pricing Mgr

This role actively drives pricing strategy across the AP region, with a focus on standardizing process, systems, and governance. They will work with the AP regional teams to accelerate annual positive pricing impact to help drive revenue growth. This role will work with pricing teams in other global sales regions and product groups to ensure the roll-out of global pricing excellence AP.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Leads and drives implementation and execution of pricing strategy, processes, tools, and pricing governance in APAC
• Independently drive strategic pricing program to improve price performance by developing value-based approach for list price and discounting logics.
• Support implementation of annual pricing rounds to optimize profitability for each Profit Centre
• Drive to improve and implement the annual pricing process for list price and NDP
• Influences commercial organization towards value-based pricing
• Leads pricing governance and monthly reviews with key stakeholders with analysis to review pricing objectives, issues, performance and generate action plans to drive price growth. Implements processes to monitor local adherence to agreed pricing strategies.
• Become a strong partner for the commercial organization and product management teams by partnering with the stakeholders to ensure deployment of strategic value-add selling processes
• Responsible for roll-out of global pricing governance and pricing excellence initiatives
• Contributes to the annual AOP process, PLM, pricing and volume analysis for product launches and other activities in business strategy development
• Manages and develops a pricing team to support pricing initiatives in AP

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA preferred; scientific background welcomed
• 5+ years experiences managing pricing across multiple countries
• Strong pricing related experience - financial modeling, data management and statistical techniques
• Proven track record in influencing commercial management through price and profitability management
• Influencing and change management skills, ability to communicate and acquire complex ideas
• Ability to plan, organize, monitor and execute – process orientation to drive results
