VP, Strategy and Innovation

The VP of Strategy and Innovation will lead strategy development, innovation planning, and cross-functional alignment activities across LSG. They will collaborate closely with senior leadership, product marketing, R&D, and M&A teams to identify market trends, guide the portfolio, and ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives. Regular activities include facilitating strategic planning, supporting high-risk new product development programs, overseeing ideation processes, and evaluating market entry opportunities.

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

• Lead and execute the annual strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends
• Provide hands-on support and mentorship to early-stage or high-risk product development efforts
• Design and operationalize an integrated innovation system aligned to measurable outcomes (e.g., time to market, R&D efficiency)
• Oversee structured ideation processes and maintain a high-quality pipeline of new product opportunities
• Participate in due diligence and evaluation of external innovation and early-stage investments

What You Bring:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in strategy, marketing, or innovation roles in the life sciences sector
• Demonstrated success in bringing new products to market and aligning innovation with business strategy
• Strong leadership skills, including influence across cross-functional and executive teams
• Knowledge of the life sciences market and experience managing cross-functional planning processes
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business field (required); MBA preferred

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $350,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
