We currently have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to join our Life Sciences team.

 

This Sydney-based role covers the northern metropolitan area of Sydney and parts of regional NSW up to the QLD border. You will be responsible for selling and supporting Bio-Rad’s industry-leading products, including DNA, Protein and Western Blotting Imaging Systems, qPCR instrumentation, our flagship Droplet Digital PCR portfolio (ddPCR), and associated consumables within universities, research institutes, diagnostics labs, hospitals and biopharma organisations.

 

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (North), you will design and implement a strategic sales plan, meet and exceed sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service within an established territory.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for your territory
  • Spend at least 75% of your time visiting current and prospective customers
  • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships with a consultative sales approach
  • Manage and maintain accurate customer interactions, quotes and opportunities through our CRM
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and an effective territory management plan
  • Participate in seminars, demonstrations, and presentations
  • Working closely with internal support teams to deliver fantastic outcomes for customers

What You Bring

  • A degree in Life Sciences or a related field (PhD preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the Life Sciences or related industry
  • At least 2 years of relevant life science laboratory experience (preferred)
  • A passion for delivering high-quality customer service
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel across regional NSW and occasionally interstate
  • Professional approach and passion for success
