  • Snapshot of your day as Sales Key Account Manager: This position sells the entire Bio-Rad product line to identified strategic, complex, large accounts and / or strategically identified prospect accounts. This role is the gatekeeper of the strategic customer relationship and focuses on retention, penetration and net sales to new customers. 

You will help build the Business Organization designed to address the special requirements of large and complex accounts, achieve a competitive advantage and create future growth. The position will better leverage the entire portfolio of Bio-rad and services to create unique customer value for Bio-rad´s largest, highest earning / earning potential and, most importantly, for accounts of customers. 

 

  • How you will make an impact:
  • Responsible for controlling profitable revenue and closing opportunities within the strategic identified accounts by initiating, developing and / or presenting unique solutions that produce improved results for the client and benefits for Bio-rad; ensure that all commitments are met.  
  • Research and understand the strategic account and its business environment including goals, objectives, strategies and competitive situation. · Identify trends in industry and changing market regulations and understand the impact on the strategic account.  
  • Maintain detailed understanding of account decision makers and influences, build and preserve customer relationships to leverage and drive new sales and protect core business.  
  • Identify opportunities or actions on previously identified opportunities to prepare and deliver an account specific Bio-rad value proposition that results in positive action.
  • Understand, analyze, and accurately interpret the key financial performance indicators for strategic accounts and how Bio-rad solutions will impact financial goals. ·  
  • Negotiate contracts that produce long-term commitments.  
  • Show leadership and direction with respect to all Bio-rad interactions with strategic accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to the client.  
  • Integrate information from ongoing business analysis and evaluation into a multi-year plan and lead an internal “sales” team through persuasion and personal influence to develop a feasible account strategy with short-term tactics to achieve desired results. 
  • Coordinate all appropriate Bio-rad resources to execute the strategic account plan that includes assigning roles, expectations, responsibilities and timelines; interact with team members through ongoing communication, tactical planning, and execution. · 
  • Act as an in-house attorney for the client; cultivate internal relationships at Bio-Rad and leverage them for business objectives. 

 

 

  • What you Candidate Bring:
  • Corporate and financial acumen at the executive level.
  • Strong group leadership skills, and knowledge of all products and services.
  • Expert in “getting things done” within the company and possess strong negotiation skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong internal and external networking skills with robust interpersonal skills that will develop and enhance long-term relationships
