We are seeking an Account Executive to sell all Bio-Rad Genomics and Proteomics solutions, including Droplet Digital PCR, qPCR, Imaging and Western Blotting and Chromatography workflows along with associated reagent content in the Atlanta, GA area.

 

The Account Executive will support academic, government and non profit accounts in Alabama and Georgia. This position will require daily on-site visits with the customers within the territory with 50% travel expected.

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive adoption of Bio-Rad’s Genomics and Proteomics solutions including ddPCR, qPCR, Imaging, Western Blot and Chromatography workflows to achieve or exceed sales targets. 
  • Engage directly with academic customers through regular on-site visits to advance active opportunities, promote capital equipment and consumables, and provide tailored workflow solutions. 
  • Build and manage a healthy sales funnel by identifying, nurturing, and growing opportunities, with consistent CRM updates and accurate forecasting in Salesforce.com. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, Field Application Specialists, and Marketing to expand Bio-Rad’s footprint and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. 
  • Maintain strong communication and technical fluency, including product knowledge, demonstration skills, and timely reporting to leadership on activities, trends, and customer needs.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Scientific background with a BA/BS required; MS or PhD preferred in a life science discipline. 
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of sales or relevant research experience, ideally with a focus on Genomics and/or Proteomics instruments and consumables; experience with academic/government customers is a plus. 
  • Strong scientific fluency in molecular biology, gene expression, protein analysis, and related workflows. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to present complex information clearly and build lasting customer relationships. 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office, with strong analytical and territory management capabilities.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $94,100 to $129,400 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
