Product Support Engineer I

As part of the global product support team, this position will provide subject matter expert advice to internal customers supporting the Immunohematology Business of Clinical Diagnostics.

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

• Provide high-quality technical support to our affiliates and distributors on our Immunohematology products and their application on our systems.
• Collaborate with SME and resolve customer concerns and inquiries regarding IH products and escalate them to the appropriate departments within the organization, if necessary.
• Actively participate in product quality escalation’s involving product quality and/or regulatory compliance issues. Interact with R&D, MSAT, Marketing, RA/QA, and other Bio-Rad sites as needed.
• Create technical documentation including FAQ, Newsletter, and troubleshooting. guides to support technical support and field representatives.
• Design and conduct internal training courses.

What You Bring:

• Education: Bachelor’s in biology or biomedical science or appropriate scientific discipline, expertise on Immunohematology or relevant work experience is strongly preferred.
• Work Experience: prior experience in a support function with Clinical Diagnostics systems and related instrumentation is preferred. Knowledge of Bio-Rad Immunohematology Instruments and Products is a plus.
• Ability to resolve complex situations that require a logical, analytical and methodical approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and training.
• Committed to customer satisfaction; quality focused; resourceful; able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally (up to 15%).

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $75,500 to $103,900 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
