Inaugural Leadership Program Helps Grow Exceptional Leadership at Bio-Rad

Earlier this summer, a class of 30 Bio-Rad leaders graduated from the Company’s newly launched Leadership Development Program, which provides leadership training and professional growth opportunities to leaders across Bio-Rad's global teams.
“We created this program to strengthen the culture and capabilities of our leaders, which will help the Company achieve its strategic objectives while better integrating our mission, vision and values into our work culture,” says Patsy Kennedy, Sr. Director, Global Talent Development and D&I, Global HR, Bio-Rad.

The Program was an intensive six-month cohort-based experience in which participants worked on a strategic project together with an executive sponsor.
As part of each residency, participants had the opportunity to discuss, observe, reflect and try new learnings in a group setting. Leadership concepts were explored through case studies, storytelling, interactive learning and digital tools, and facilitated by world class leadership consultants and coaches.
“What people really loved the most was the fact that each had an executive coach that was present and provided feedback throughout the program. Most importantly, the graduates are asked to 'pay it forward' by serving as ambassadors to the Program and as mentors and coaches for future nominees and additional cohorts.”

The Leadership Development Program was created as an extension of the Bio-Rad Learning Academy, which was launched in 2022 to give all employees the opportunity to learn, grow and develop around a shared set of critical business skills. With the launch of this new leadership program, Bio-Rad is proud to provide development opportunities for employees at every level of the business.
