Supply Assurance Buyer I

As the Supply Assurance Buyer on our Global Supply Chain Team at Bio-Rad, you will be involed in ensuring that the materials and components required for production are available when needed, while maintaining a balance between inventory levels and production demands.

How You'll Make An Impact:

• Ensure timely execution of MRP supply, forecast, and exception reports to suppliers, aligning supplier delivery commitments with production requirements.
• Oversee purchasing of both direct and indirect commodities, including chemicals, biologicals, and packaging components.
• Expedite deliveries and address material shortages to support uninterrupted production.
• Manage and resolve supplier returns, goods receipts, and invoice discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity while adhering to established procedures and standards.
• Optimize inventory levels to support production needs while minimizing inventory holding costs.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, logistics, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing and planning experience in chemicals or biological raw materials.
• Experience in Manufacturing environment.
• Possess good computer skills including MS Office and strong in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledgeable of SAP ERP will be advantageous.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $68,640 - $83,100 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
