Business Systems Analyst, Intermediate

Bio-Rad is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with a strong interest or academic background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), along with a foundational understanding of Supply Chain Planning and Manufacturing processes, to support our global digital transformation efforts.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI/ML-enabled capabilities across the supply chain—enhancing forecasting accuracy, enabling planning automation, and driving intelligent decision-making. 

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of business and technology, supporting enterprise-wide process improvements and data-driven transformation, while gaining hands-on experience with emerging AI/ML technologies applied to complex global supply chain environments. 

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

• Support the design and improvement of demand planning, supply planning, production scheduling, and deployment & distribution processes through AI/ML-supported tools. 
• Support implementation AI/ML use cases in supply chain such as predictive planning, inventory optimization, and exception management in collaboration with the Data Science team. 
• Translate business requirements into system design documents, AI model inputs/outputs, and integration specifications. 
• Collaborate with development and business teams to deliver AI-enhanced planning capabilities integrated with Bio-Rad Enterprise Applications including Kinaxis Maestro and SAP. 
• Integrate ML models into supply planning workflows through APIs, dashboards, or embedded logic. 
• Drive adoption of new processes and AI-enhanced capabilities with end users. 
• Improve data quality in SAP and Kinaxis Maestro through AI and Automation solutions.  

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field. 
• Familiarity with planning processes such as demand forecasting, MRP, production scheduling, and inventory management. 
• 5 years in Supply Chain with exposure to AI/ML in business contexts. 
• Knowledge of enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Kinaxis, or similar is a plus. 
• Knowledge of AI concepts and tools (e.g., Python, SageMaker, Vertex AI). 
• Excellent problem-solving, process thinking, and stakeholder communication. 
• Strong documentation, gathering requirements, and facilitation skills. 
• Able to work independently in a global, matrixed environment. 
• Role includes a travel requirement of up to 30%, to support workshops, system deployments, and coordination across regional planning teams.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,400 to $144,500 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States*.  Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of an offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compenstion, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance. 

*Minimum reflects our lowest paying locations, and the top end reflects our highest paying locations. The range in your geographic location will vary but will be within the indicated ranges.
