Bio-Rad Employees Celebrate Father's Day

June 15, 2025

Today is Father's Day in the United States and a number of other countries across the globe. To celebrate this meaningful tradition this year, we asked Bio-Rad employees to share their favorite memories or thoughts either as a dad or with a fatherly figure in their life.

Below are the touching responses we received. Happy Father's Day!

Andres Nieto (Mississauga, Canada)

My daughters were incredibly proud of me when I received my Region of the year award and the presidents club award. They are the best cheerleaders and this moment really meant a lot to me.

Yonatan Alvarado (Mexico City, Mexico)

This photo is very important to me. Because of my job, I travel throughout Latin America and am away from home a lot. When I'm in Mexico, I try to spend as much time as possible with my children and share moments with them.

Uddalok Das (Gurgaon, India)

Three years ago, my life changed forever — I became a father. This photo was taken in the hospital on the very first day of her life, just moments after she entered this world. I still remember as I held her tiny body for the first time, that it was the beginning of a new chapter filled with pure joy.

Sheri Mazumder (Hercules, California)

My dad worked at Bio-Rad in the '90s as a Sr. Chemist in Special Manufacturing LSG. He was well known for his sense of humor, like his annual "Mad Scientist" Halloween Costume. Although I'm not a scientist, I followed his footsteps to also work at Bio-Rad.

Joseph Gallop (Hercules, California)

Just another great moment in time.

Tomas Jurik (Prague, Czech Republic)

My 1.5-year-old daughter Valeria, right after eating my well-deserved strawberry dumpling dessert following a long mountain hike. She spontaneously started hugging and kissing me. I was robbed, but I melted—and she knows she’s got her father wrapped around her finger.

Jyotsna Ayyagari (Kidlington, United Kingdom)

This photograph is sometime around the year 1992 when my dad just returned home to his family in India from the UK after completing his master's degree. We were very joyous at his return and were looking forward to spending time with him, listening to his stories from the UK.

Sky Thew (Kaki Bukit, Singapore)

This is my dad. He has always loved exploring places he's never been before. In this photo, he's heading toward the lighthouse—a place he's been wanting to visit—and he asked me to come along with him.

Vishwa Bharathi (Bangalore, India)

Celebrating my daughter's birthday with her grandpa was such a heartwarming experience. Seeing their smiles and joy made the day unforgettable. "The greatest gift I ever had came from God; I call him Dad!"

Justin Paulson (Nashville, Tennessee)

My youngest was featured in the first Bio-Rad "PTO Pics" contest, but I truly became a father in 2021. I was blessed to fall in love with a full family package that included two incredible stepsons. There's no manual for being a step-parent, but figuring it out has been the highlight of my life.

Szilvia Feher-Zentai (Budapest, Hungary)

This photo was taken when I finished my first marathon. My daddy had been a big example all of my life. He supported me during hard times, taught me to fight, not to give up, just go ahead. It was a pleasure to me to have him at the finish area, to see and feel his pride for me. Thank you Daddy :)

Laurie Bennett (Hercules, California)

My husband, Elgin, playing with our then 3-yr old twins Trent (on top) and Tyson. They are turning 13 years old on July 17 and are both taller than me. I love this memory of them attacking my husband. They still attack him, but now it's on the basketball court!

Andrew Collins (Canton, Massachusetts)

Our family got a little bit bigger last October with the arrival of Cameron. As the weather got nicer, I started taking him on my jogs around the neighborhood. We’ve done a couple 5k races around town and his big brother Aiden comes along to watch (and sometimes does a fun run for kids).

Vaibhav Shah (Gurgaon, India)

Three generations in a single click. Random pic from cousin's wedding!

Le Gao (Hercules, California)

This is a special moment of baby me with my dad — I think I was less than six months old. My heart melts every time I see this photo, and I wanted to share that feeling with you. Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there!

Sander Janssens (Lokeren, Belgium)

My dearest daughter, Noé, from the moment you arrived, filling your mom and me with joyful tears, you've been a truly wonderful, happy, vocal, and curious little one. You brighten our world more and more each day. Let's make your mom a little jealous by sharing even more of those big laughs with me!

Eric Parent (Montreal, Canada)

Recently I had the opportunity to travel to Marnes for work. My son came with me and it was his first travel to Europe. We did it together and had a great father-and-son time.

Khatija Kubra (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)

Our Amsterdam trip was a blast with Dad leading the way—cracking jokes, pulling luggage like a superhero, and turning every moment into fun. His bull statue pose as “King of the Market” had us all laughing. Happy Father’s Day to our hero—we love you more than all the stroopwafels!

Nina Klier (Munich, Germany)

Happy place with my favorite people (in the German alps).

Ana Laura Sanchez Ramirez (Mexico)

I love you dad! Thank you for everything you taught me and the values you instilled in me.

Pushpendra Kumar (Hercules, California)

Getting loved by my precious ones.

Navin Dangwal (Gurgaon ,India)

Playing together with son is real fun!

Ilya Grigoryev (Mississauga, Canada)

Celebrating Father's Day with my two young boys Mark and Lucas by building a Lego set together at our home. Raising two active boys takes a lot of energy and effort, but it also gives me a purpose and empowers me, because I want my kids to be lead by my example in their future lives.

Chris Middleton (Hercules, California)

This picture is about five years old and neither of us look quite as young anymore, but being a father to this awesome little guy has been the greatest joy in my life. Thank you for making me a dad, Jordan!
