Contract Sales & Service Administrator

As the Contract Sales & Service Administrator for Bio-Rad Canada, you will offer service options and support to our Life Science Group customers nation-wide. You will collaborate with our service admin team and service reps to develop and direct initiatives that will be made available to our customers. In addition, you will be responsible for tracking service sales and drive solutions to sustain profitability using your expertise in reporting and analytics. 

 

The role will be based in our Mississauga office.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Reviews every month all agreements coming to expiry and prepares the opportunity renewals in SFDC/CPQ
  • Finalizes the new quotes and contract renewals and sends them to the customers, obtains purchase orders and/or payment information and processes them in Salesforce and SAP
  • Monitors and follows up on Preventative Maintenance and other pre-paid activities by assigning work orders and coordinating service documentation with customers
  • Monitors month-end reports for contracts, billable and pre-paid services, installed product records for new instrument sales including updating warranty and contract information etc.
  • Handles incoming service cases and coordinates service calls with Field and Service Center engineers
  • Supports Field Service Engineers on urgent spare parts-related inquiries like availability, ETAs for parts orders, returns, transfers etc.
  • Routinely uses judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations to improve processes
  • Documents new processes and reviews SOPs from time to time
  • Generates and provides official documentation required for internal and external audits and participate in these audits
  • Assists the Service Admin team on other assigned tasks as required

What You Bring: 

  • Bilingualism is strongly desired – English and French
  • College diploma or university degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in Service Sales or Service Administration (experience in the Health Sector preferred)
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems including SalesForce, CPQ and/or Power Bi is an asset
  • Microsoft Word & Excel. Create and manage reports in Excel. 
  • Efficient problem solver, detail-oriented and well organized

Required Experience: 

  • Strong experience in Service and Contract Administration
  • Excellent oral/written skills in English and French.
  • The capacity to function well individually and in a team environment
  • Must be autonomous and confident in taking ownership of decisions and projects
  • High level of organization
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with prioritization, and manage stressful situations in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
  • In depth knowledge of company specific products an asset
