This Supply Planner (DRP) will be part of the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Planning for Global Products. This individual will work with Product Supply Planner to plan and convert STOs to meet global supply plan in global network of DCs, especially for Singapore Manufactured products out from Singapore DC. He/she will utilize SAP tool to plan and manage global inventory to ensure deploying the right inventory at various DCs. This position will also have to support APAC commercial team to meet our revenue, reduce backorders and achieve OTIF targets.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Manage and convert Stock Transfer Order (STO) to transfer Finished Goods from Singapore DC to other Global DCs
- Manage global inventory and shortages across the network and partner with other Global Distribution Requirements Planners & Global Planners for re-balancing inventory between Tier 1 and 2/3 DCs globally
- Support APAC commercial team in S&OE revenue commitments, shortages escalations
- Analyze, monitor and response for Inventory level to ensure adherence of OTIF performance, BackOrder reduction, optimize inventory turns, and manage shelf life products effectively to minimize discard risk
- Co-ordinate with Logistics on timely delivery of replenishment across the network DCs, working together to optimizing shipment and reduce transport costs
- Analyze, evaluate and partner with Global Demand Planning on forecast accuracy and demand signal publish through Demand/Supply Planning across the network
- Partner with Global Marketing to manage global product allocation/prioritization
- Collaborate with multiple functions (e.g. Customer Service, Sales, Demand Planning, Production, Warehouse, Logistics and other internal stakeholders) to improve supply plan and work processes
What You Bring:
- Proficient in SAP Hana. Knowledge of Kinaxis Rapid Response is a plus
- Mastery of Supply Network Planning concept, Safety stock, Parameters setting, ideally with SAP. Understand of Demand Planning is a plus
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skill in partnership, negotiation and create alignment
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
- At least 5 years of supply planning regional experience in multiple countries with manufacturing and distribution
- System driven planning experience – ideally with SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response
- Strong capability to understand manufacturing Processes
- Good Commercial acumen
- SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response, Microsoft Office
