Software Engineer Intern

Apply what you have learned to make an impact and see what it takes to be a Full Stack Software Engineer. In our Life Sciences Group you will be developing a web application that transforms how scientists use our products, advance scientific discoveries, and improve the quality of healthcare! You will collaborate with a group of developers, testers, and scientists that share ownership and succeed together. Together we will plan, design, deploy, and maintain scientific applications and infrastructure. Not only will your work create value and drive our products forward, it will also optimize our users’ experience – enabling our customers to make scientific breakthroughs that save lives.

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

• Contribute code across the stack – frontend, backend, testing, IaC. 
• May also include proof of concept projects (Precise projects to be tailored to candidate’s skill and interests and the team’s needs.) 
• Candidates will gain experience working in a fast-paced software team environment and the application of cloud technology to life science instrumentation.

What You Bring:

• Education: Current sophomore or junior in college majoring in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3.0 minimum GPA.
• Work Experience: Experience with web technologies like TypeScript, React, CSS, NodeJS, Python. 
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, microservices. 
• Familiarity with design paradigms like functional and object-oriented design. 
• Familiarity with the Linux command line.

Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $25 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
